Foreign-language films are made all over the world, of course, except in America. In America, they only make non-foreign-language films. Foreign-language films are very hard to make, obviously, because you have to invent a foreign language instead of using the usual language. But the truth is, cinema is a foreign language, a language created for those who need to travel to the other side of life. Goodnight.
You know how when you meet someone… and you think you like them, but then the more you talk to ‘em, you see parts you don’t like? And sometimes… you don’t end up liking any parts at all. But… the boy I saw today is different. I like every part of him. Especially his hands. They’re beautiful.
Where we come from, “cheer” is not a word that you hear very often, but that’s what we are, the cheerleaders of East Compton High School. They should really call us inspiration leaders, because that’s what we do. We inspire the people from our neighborhoods to believe that our team can win.
